Short Thanksgiving Poem

I wrote this poem ages ago, and it is a favorite of readers.  Thought I’d post it here today, as I know people are beginning to search for holiday poems.  Blessings, Ellen

November Wisconsin countryside
Bare trees elegant against the sky
Colors in the landscape muted now
October’s glory is gone
And love grows eternally
