Lake Michigan

weeping willows
reach towards ground
humility

small waves to shore
one song after another
fades to silence

how does it stay
so regal on this day?
Queen Anne’s Lace

Autumn Equinox

highway sounds
in the distance

My Journal Poems

FLIGHT

As the gull
rests on the air currents,
motionless,
unfearing,
thus I would rest
on the breath of the Spirit,
so at ease
so certain
I could turn my vision
back and forward,
and decipher my meaning.
